Some islands are known for their beaches. Cuttyhunk is known for its stripers.

This burgee honors the fish that put Cuttyhunk on the map. Generations of anglers have chased striped bass off these rocky shores, and the island’s fishing tradition is as much a part of its identity as the ferry, the harbor, and the sunsets. Our design features a bold navy striped bass on a nautical yellow background, with “Cuttyhunk Island, Est. 1602” running along the hoist. That’s a nod to the year Bartholomew Gosnold landed on the island.

Fly it from your bow, your dock, your flagpole, or your porch, and let everyone know where your heart is. Fully Printed on both sides of the burgee, it’s finished with a white header and brass grommets for easy mounting, and it’s made to flutter in a Buzzards Bay breeze.

Perfect for:

  • Boats, from center consoles and sailboats to the family skiff

  • Docks, moorings, and flagpoles

  • Porches, cottages, and man caves

  • Fishing tournaments and “bass season” bragging rights

  • A gift for anglers, boaters, and Cuttyhunk regulars
